* ingredients from organic cultivation.”

My Description & Thoughts:

I don’t always use a toner, but when I do, it is one just like this. (hehe) Seriously, though. This is a great toner.

I also love that it comes with a spray feature. I have used toners in the past that require a cotton ball or square to apply, which I don’t like (though Primavera suggests it–it is not the method I like best) I prefer to waste less of it by spraying it directly onto my skin. It does a great job of evenly distributing the toner.

Limey, zesty, fresh are the aromas that I smell in this product–very pleasant and uplifting. I see this product appealing to both men and women because the fragrance is unisex.

I’ve recently become more open and using refreshing mid day sprays, herb waters and toners. I love them as an alternative and more mild way of cleansing my face in between washes. Primavera has made a great oner here with almost entirely organic ingredients.

Balancing Gel Cleanser: Sage & Grape Seed Oil

Primavera’s Description:

Water (Aqua), Alcohol* org, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Salvia Offi cinalis (Sage) Leaf Water*, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Water*, Xanthan Gum, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract*, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract*, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Bentonite, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract*, Fragrance (Parfum), Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Plantago Lanceolata Leaf Extract*, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract*, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*, Lactic Acid, Citral, Limonene, Linalool.

* ingredients from organic cultivation.”

My Description & Thoughts:

This is the first cleanser I’ve ever tried that is a gel consistency as opposed to a bar soap or liquid soap. It is different, needless to say. A good different.

It provides a gentle cleanse while retaining my skin’s moisture balance. Sometimes I prefer a more thorough, clarifying cleanse, and other times and for more regular washes, I prefer a product like this.

I put this bottle in the shower after using it for the first time and let me fiancee give it a try as well. I thought of him when using it as I felt it had a zesty, herby, masculine aroma to it. He thought it was “light and wouldn’t clog your pores.”

Wonderful, new-to-me product that I think is a great change of pace from a lot of cleansers.

*These complimentary products have been generously provided to me for the purpose of trying them in order to write a review on my experience.
